HRH at New Year's weekend

Howdy..we are hoping to be at Universal over the New Year's weekend...from 12/30/04 to 1/3/05...

Currently the best rate for HRH is the rack rate of $269/night...does anyone think I will beable to get a cheaper rate thru Hotel Kingdom or any other provider as the date gets closer?

We went during New Years 2 years ago. About once a month I would recheck prices. I am happy to say, about 30 days before our trip, the prices were reduced. They reduced so much, that we opted for a club level at the Royal Pacific Resort.

We had so much fun during this time. Even even had a view of the parks.
