We took our 4-legged, baby girl with us on our last trip to RPR in July. We were on the 4th floor. I'm pretty sure that they have no-pet rooms, because we had to wait until 4:35 for a pet room. Obviously there's not that many. We have a mini-pin, and she was no problem at all. We didn't get any complaints, but if we had it probably would have been because of the 2 teen boys.

We were careful not to enter an elevator which was already occupied, and to avoid people when she was with us, although that was hard to do, since so may people wanted to play with her.

I'm sure that anyone else would show you the same courtesy if you asked. I can see why some people have never seen pets, because there really isn't that many. We have stayed at all 3 resorts. We never encountered a pet at PBH. We saw 2 at HRH, on different days, and 4 other than ours at RPR. All but one of those was at the pet walk. By the way, Loew's Hotels have a special filtering system in their rooms, so if you were placed in a pet room, I doubt you'd notice. Our room at HRH last year was a pet room, even though we didn't have Molly at the time, and we never would have known if they didn't have all the pet info. in it.
Just 1 last thought: While I agree that there is no way that anyone should have to stay at WDW to avoid pets, we pet owners shouldn't be banned from WDW, because we have 1. My family went from 3 straight years of annual passes, and 5 or 6 trips a year to WDW to only 1 visit since we got Molly. The only option we have is FW in our RV, but it is becoming impossible to book FW at busier times of year.
Sorry for getting off topic, but since it was brought up, I wanted to mention my dissappointment in WDW, because I feel like we went from it being our home-away-from-home to being the black sheep of the family who is no longer welcome.

I know they have kennels, but most people who take their pets along do so because they don't want to leave them at home in a kennel.

Well anyway, thanks for letting me share my sadness, and have a great trip.
