HR cafe

I received $100 gift certificate for the HR cafe from my job. I am staying at the HRH in October and figure I could use it for 2 meals there. What I am wondering is, is it good enough to eat there 2 times?? Also, I forgot from when I was down there last, was it in the park or outside (in other words, do I have go on a day I'm going to the park or not?) Thanks!!

HR Cafe is not inside the park. It is a very short walk from HRH.

I think you could eat 2 meals there. It has standard theme restaurant food.

HR Cafe is in Citywalk which is not technically in the park, but is part of the grounds.
Just a short walk from the hotel.

We were there over Memorial day weekend and ate there twice! The food was great compared to the other places we ate. I had the steak sandwich the first time and the app.sampler the second time. (found I was having trouble finishing meals because they were too big) The sandwich was a little grissley, so I chose to eat it as an open faced sandwich using a fork and knife and found this the easiest was to eat it. It was really good once I figured out how to eat around the grissle.

Margaritaville sucked really bad. My cheeseburger in paridise was fine, but DH had the "surf and turf". (steak and shrimp) He could not eat it and he's not one to complain. The person they have on the char broil does not know what they are doing. I ordered my burger medium and it came medium well. DH ordered m/rare and his was also m/well. On a side note, we did drop $75 in the gift shop on a bunch of glasses and shirts. I thought their prices were very reasonable.

Be sure to go straight to the podium and show them your room key for the HRH. (don't wait in the line) They will put you in a line inside and you will get seated quicker.

Would agree Margaritaville sucked last week, should have gone to HR but everyone was too tired to cross the bridge and wanted to try it, benefit from the food critics here and do twice...

I wouldn't hesitate to eat 2 or more meals at the HRC Orlando. The food is actually very good!

FYI...there is an entrance to and from the HRC and Universal Studios. If you are facing the HRC entrance, go right towards the back of the cafe. It will put you in Universal Studios right by the Nick Studios Tour and the Slime Time Live outdoor set.
