Max: Mel's captain, but she seemed distracted. I'd like to do this anyway. We don't have a seeker and one of our beaters and our keeper decided not to play this year. Ad since I couldn't name more than two people currently in Ravenclaw, I have to have tryouts.

Max: *her voices steadily grows quieter* I don't want the weekend to come. I don't want him to die. Not now, not ever. We've both lost so much. I know most of the time we hide it behing our strong outer shells, but we still hurt. We still suffer. But we suffer in silence, in bitter silence. Now he is going to lose the ultimate, his most valuable possesion. And I am going to lose my last family member, my last link to the family. He looks just like my mum. And now he has to join her. *sniffles* *whispering* I wish it were me. I wish it were me instead. He's only eleven years old.

Max: *angry* I have experienced death! I know what it means to die! It shouldn't have to happen to him! No one should have to bury their younger sibling! *scoffing* "These things happen"? Sure people die, but not young children! And I hope to never understand why an eleven year old had to die. It's cruel. It's just cruel, you hear? It's one of the worst things a person can do, to kill a child.

Max: *rolls her eyes* * angrily* *mockingly* Sure they do. Tony is just an insignificant tally mark of the thousands that are dying. The great and famous Harry Potter can't spare pity for just one when there are thousands! Guess he'll just be another name on the list of innocent people that have been slain for the death eaters' fun and games. Maybe when it gets to millions Harry might decide to actually do something about it!*stops being mocking, continues being angry* *laughs harshly* Of course we can't stop it! You know why? Because no one will bother to do anything about it! We just let Voldemort massacre everybody, and hope it isn't us! I don't even know why the word hope exists anymore, clearly no one has it or uses the word. Anyone sane knows hope only goes so far, and the people have to do something to meet it halfway. But everybody just think hope will come and everybody willl be saved and we're all going to have a party! No, I think not. Try is also a word I'm sick of. You do or you don't, you are or you aren't. There is no "I'll try to". There is no "I'll try to be". It is or it isn't. People will save my brother or they won't. And based on where this conversation is going, they won't.
