A few reasons really. Firstly, I just keep getting reminded of Christmases long ago. Ones where, Cedric Tony and I would spend every waking moment together. And even earlier than that, when it was just Mum, Dad and I. And Remus and Tonks came over, and it was like when Cedfric came over for the holidays. But it's not Cedric. And......I don't really belong. I don't belong with anyone down there. I knew I wouldn't enjoy myself if I went down so I spared myself and went up to the roof once the others had gone down. Besides, I'm just going to die anyway pretty soon, so might as well break away and make it less painful for all of us.
