Cedric: Well, I'm no expert, but I'm here because I was sent here. By the way, where do you think we are?

Max: Shouldn't you know?

Cedric: I know what I'm doing here. It's just, when you get here, the person who died kind of decides instinctively how the place appears. So where are we?

Max: Hmm........the Hogwarts Quidditch field I think.

Cedric: *smiles* The sport that unites us.

Max: What about the rest of my questions?

Cedric: Well, I'm dead. I just came here to help you. They always send someone close to the new dead to help them figure out what happened to them. They sent me. As to what happened, you, having a good amount of Diggory blood in you, was brilliant and did the brave and loyal act of saving your friend Melody from a terrible fate and taking the fall yourself. That act of sacrifice and heroism may have had some effects but I'm not sure yet.

Max: I hope my friends are all right. Is there a way I could see them?

Cedric: *nods* Yes. I can create some windows to see your friends, but they will not be able to see or hear you. Okay?

Max: *nods* Okay. Show me.

Cedric: Friasso Contementos! *opens windows into present*

Cedric: Revenge? Is this what this is about? Max, you don't need revenge. I don't need revenge. Revenge doesn't help. Violence might be necessary sometimes, but violence only creates more violence.
