Am I the only one who doesn’t want this to happen? The books and movies are great as they are. Hollywood, go make an Auror series instead or something.

Yes. It’s getting mixed reviews online. Those of us who grew up with the books/movies want the prequel (Marauder story) made instead or an Auror series (think wizard cop show). Heck even a Quidditch series would be better.

It will just be filled with a political agenda to be honest. The movies were as close to the books as possible for a movie (with the exception of messing up the movie six battle and movie 4 quidditch match but that was due to budget restraints).

Apparently JK is involved in the show so it’s a hard pass. I imagine ratings will suffer because of it. Hollywood as a whole needs to stop making so many sequels and prequels and part 9 of a series and get some original ideas.
