My son and girlfriend want to take a day to see the Harry Potter areas. Do you have to get any other ticket(s) besides admission to IOA? I read the sticky but someone mentioned you need 2 different tickets?

Thanks!

You only need one admission ticket to get into the park and Harry Potter. If the park is super crowded they will limit admission into the section and give you a time card to get back in later.

You will only need to buy one ticket to get into IOA though.

PP is correct. If you truly are a WDW nut, then you know all about FP. This second ticket is essentially a FP to enter the HP area, but not any of the rides. The best analogy is to imagine needing a FP to enter Fantasyland.

Thanks very much!! I will let them know. Is there a guideline to crowd levels for the second week of May? 10 of us will be at WDW from 5/8-5/14.

Do you need a card for each person in your party? does everyone has to make the line to get a ticket for each or can I make the line and get entry ticket for myself and my 2 kids?
Thanks

Spring break is pretty much over by then I think. Hopefully you won't encounter this at all.

The one time I've done this I just told the TM the number in my party and they wrote that on one ticket. It was just me in the line to get it.

Thanks again. Lower crowds are one reason we love WDW the first 2 weeks of May.
