HP for dayguests before GO?

We arrive in Orlando on the 15th and are staying at a condo. Originally this was to be an all Universal trip but with the GO on the 18th we were rethinking our plan.

Are non-resort guests being allowed in HP? If we went to the park on the 16 & 17th would we get to ride FJ?

Still trying to decide if we should try Universal this trip or wait until next spring? My ds really wants to see HP...

And if we did decide to go, what time should we be there to allow time to park and all? We've never been to Universal.

It seems to change day by day right now. I would check back here closer to your date. There have been a few days that the general public was let in at 9 am.

In a nutshell, the soft iopenings are all based around getting Fj up and running smoothly, but the closer you get to GO, the less likely they'll let non hotel guests in.

Basically, after the first two days, FJ was running well for the first hour, and it turned into a walk on, so they let non guests in, to create a longer line, and push the envelope.

Thanks for your insight...If only our trip was a week earlier or a week later...

I'm still thinking we will just save our Universal tix for next year. I'd hate to use them and not get in OR be one of the millions after the GO.
