There's a lot of varied experience on the Dis, so I'm hoping somebody might have some input on this.

I've got a HP 1022 printer that is malfunctioning. The paper goes through it correctly, but it's not printing anything on the page (yes, I do have a full cartridge in it). :confused3

Thanks for any help that anybody can give! :thumbsup2

My HP1100 at work had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was toast. The IT person mumble something about it not scanning correctly or something to that effect. The test page would not even print.

That's what I was afraid of. I've got one in my office that a teacher sent to me. Our computer guy (not very well versed) had no idea what was wrong with it, and I was hoping I could find out how to get it fixed to put back in a classroom. Our district is "money challenged" ;) , and I hate to lose a piece of equipment (8 days out of warranty :guilty: ).

Thanks!

Just a shot in the dark, but did you check the toner cartridges? Maybe they're dried out? :confused3

Thanks, I did, but the cartridge was fine in a different printer. I have had that happen before though. :thumbsup2
