How's this scheme to stay at the WL sound?

Missing the boat on EWP, BAT, and BAS, I am a little dissapointed. I am going 10/20-10/24 for a quick visit, and am currently at POFQ at the AAA rate.

However, I really would like to try the WL. Right now I can get a courtyard room for $170 a night through Expedia for Wed, Thurs, and Fri. My room for Saturday would be reserved through CRO, but I would change rooms for that last night and stay conceirge (because thats the only thing available.. $285 I think).

I'm spending $550 at POFQ, but at the 'Wildy' it would be closer to $850 (but I wouldn't rent a car so that's $200 I would spend at POFQ anyway...)

What do you think? Worth the trouble? Worth switching for just one night? Or should I just keep trying to call every day or so...?

I loved the WL and would recommend it to anyone!!!

As for ressies I was able to switch from the Pop to POFQ for an upcomming trip after 1st being told no POFQ for several days.

As many on the boards told me, "keep trying." I would go ahead and book whatever you can now because your trip is so close to ensure that you do have a room.

I have been checking Southwest for my upcoming trip and have had good luck with rates. I did a quick search of your date and came up with $139.00 a night +tax-that is for a standard view. It is listed as a special rate.

We are DVC members and have stayed at the WL and honestly didn't care for it and will not stay there again. I love the look of the place and the layout etc just didn't care for staying there. Good luck in whatever you choose but I would stick with POFQ honestly.

Very interesting, we absolutely loved every minute of our stay at WL and would love to go back.

We have booked POFQ for a trip in December. Since we loved WL do you think we will still like POFQ???

Winnie Pooh Fan it depends on what you are looking for in a resort. We like a resort with some activity going on and WL didn't give us that and that may have been a very large factor in why we didn't care for it. POFQ has more hustle and bustle as it would be and we didn't like Dixie either(POR) when we stayed there it was like being in a retirement community. It was very beautiful but just to damn quiet and it seemed like a large number of older couples like mid 60's for us that is not fun we love the BW and everythign it has to offer . If you like to relax and like the quiet Wl is for you and maybe POFQ won't be as there are many more kids and alot more moise you don't hear it in the rooms but when you go to the pool etc you will surely notice it.
