How's the week before Labor Day?

We would be leaving on Thursday or Friday, before Labor Day, so would we miss most of the L. Day crowds? I realize it's still August, and schools still haven't started in a lot of the country, but that's about our only choice for this trip because of DH school schedule.

How bad is it?

hot, damn hot...africa hot...BUT not crowded at all - its the week we prefer to go.

Thanks! I figured it would be hot, but since it's just DH and I, without the kiddos, we'll manage. Glad to hear the crowds aren't terrible tho

We've gone that time before and the crowds were very minimal. We walked all the way up to the CM's kind of leaning against the posts and the loading area of Splash Mountain..they were just waiting for people to come. I thought we had accidentally sneaked in a shut-down ride!

But it was very hot! We're from Texas so no big deal..it was cooler to us!

We were really enjoying ourselves this past August, at least until the hurricane rolled in to town! It took us 6 hours to get out of Florida!!!

We enjoy going at the end of august.Except this year were going the 2 weeks before 13-27.They do change most of the park hours the last week of august.The parks have no crowds and I really didnt find the weather any hotter then it is at home,but thats why they have waterparks lol.Enjoy yourself.

I love that time, sure it's hot, but that's what BB and TL are for, and don't forget the water rides in the parks too! And the pools at the resorts....and use FP if the lines are long....it's still a ton of fun! :jumping4:
