We want to do a Disney cruise and noticed that the rates are very good in the end of September! I am just worried that it is because the weather is not that great, can anybody help me out and tell me the real deal?

Thanks

We've cruised the last 3 years the first week of October on 3 nights. This year we're booked on a 7night Western the last week of September. I know of at least 2 reasons that the Sept/Oct cruises are cheaper: kids are back in school and it is hurricane season. We had great weather on our trips: Highs in the 80s, although in 2002 it was really warm. I am expecting the weather to be very warm on our cruise.

We did a 3-day last Oct. 2nd. Great weather! Seas were a bit rough the first night but the weather was great!

We cruised Sept. 21-28 this past fall, and it couldn't have been better. I was a little worried too, but I would go at that time again in a heartbeat! It was very warm, but not scorching. The only rain was at Castaway Cay, and it was just a light mist for most of the afternoon. It finally got harder about 3:00, but it definitely didn't ruin the whole day. We paid $599 per person for a cat 11 and were upgraded to a cat 6. What a magical trip!!

I thought the weather was perfect. I was on the cruise right before drydock last fall. I rebooked for almost the same time this year.

Sandy, that's great to hear. I'm booked on the 9/30/04 :boat: just before drydock.

The weather is great. Very warm and wonderful.

Like the other poster says..it is hurricane season..so you take your chances. We cruised mid sept last year...right between all the storms...just luck. It was excellent.
