Earliest dinner ADR we can get for LeC is 8:40. So we're considering lunch there, instead. How's lunch there? How's it compare to dinner? Thanks for any info.

We usually go for lunch there on our first or second day. It's always fantastic! The selections are great (my only complaint is that the steak is sorta small), so don't worry. Just make sure that you have a AR because whenever we go it's usually always crowded. Have fun!! :goodvibes

I haven't been to Le Cellier for dinner (I am going this trip) but from other post that I have read there are some dinner entress that are available for lunch. Lunch was great they have a variety of appetizers, salads, burgers, and steaks. I actually might try to switch my adr to lunch instead of dinner because of the variety.

We had the same prob in Feb so we took lunch, it was awesome! Dh had them make the BBQ filet for him and it was delicious! They could not make me the mushroom filet because they did not have the ingredients prepped. I had the beef tips with udon noodles and veggies and it was out of this world! A huge portion and the tenderest most flavorful beef ever.

We went for lunch in January (no dinner ADRs of course) and it was great. I had the steak appetizer, the shrimp pasta (it was huge) and of course the chocolate cake. I was a lot of food. My husband had the filet and it wasn't too much smaller than the dinner portion.

Shrimp. Did you say shrimp :) . I love shrimp. We have ressies for lunch on our upcoming trip. First time trying LeCellier. What was in the shrimp pasta, meaning type of sauce?

I usually make a lunch AR at LeCellier for the day I/we switch over to the BCV.

I might be in the minority here, but I actually prefer Le Cellier's lunch menu.

The menus might differ slightly, but they still have the yummy filets on the lunch menu- plus some really good sandwiches I enjoy!

Have a great trip!! I can't wait to eat at Le Cellier myself!!!

We have eaten both lunch and dinner, and we love both. My DH prefers dinner, but I think I prefer the lunch. I am not a big steak eater; he is. As long as I have the cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread, I don't care!! :)

I thought you HAD to have an ADR for this restaurant? :confused3 Is it possible to get a walk in ...or same day reservation? We are going to be there the Week of May 19th and I was not able to get an ADR for lunch or dinner..but we are 5 people..and that seems to be part of my problem.

When I tried to get Le Cellier for dinner, I could only get lunch. So I called back about 6 times over a few weeks, no cancellations. The CM suggested that I call on the night before the reservation or the day of, as that is when most cancellations happen. Also, it is possible to get a "walk in" as some people do not have the courtesy to cancel their reservation and are just no-shows. So if I were you I would check first thing that morning, but also have a back-up ADR in place at a different restaurant. Good luck :thumbsup2

I've only eaten there once and it was for lunch. It was so much food, I can't imagine needing more food. The steak is great. I made an ADR for lunch this trip, couldn't get an evening ADR.

That's good to know, thank you.;) I will keep trying during our stay. I didn't realize you could check the same day or walk up and see if there were any openings. I had heard that some restaurants no longer accept any walk ups.
