I normally fly Delta or Song. Now that I am a DVC member I fly to WDW 2-3 times a year :cool1:
Therefore, I don't want to spend more than I have to each time I fly. I am trying to find decent airfare BOS-MCO. I know I could go to NH and fly SW but I'd rather fly out of BOS. I have been checking websites daily and the best I've been able to find on Song in March is $720 for the both of us :guilty:
I have heard good things about Jetblue and am willing to try them if the price is right. Their website says they release fares 8 months ahead of time, which means they would have the end of Feb rates out. But they still just have as far as the beginning of Jan :confused3
Any ideas?
TIA

athenna,
Jetblue is awesome! We've used them out of Syracuse to Orlando and Tampa in the past. We connect at JFK. I'm not sure if you connect out of Boston or not. They are first class all the way, even in coach! They have leather seats, in every seat is Direct TV. They really treat you great! The flight crew is very professional, more so than United, Delta, or Northwest that we've flown recently. We've never been delayed due to mechanical problems or issues with the airline, weather is out of everyone's control however.

Thanks Alexander! I do want to try Jetblue. When are they gonna release those darn fares?? Do they have direct flights, or are they all connecting? I hate connecting flights.

We used Jet Blue in April from Boston to Orlando- they were great! Lots of leg room, and love the TV's! The flight was non-stop. We are using them again in a couple of weeks when we go to CA, again a non-stop flight. Can't wait! :)

I loved Jet Blue. Watched A&E on the little television all across the country, and all the blue potato chips I could eat.

Unfortunately they don't fly between Orlando and Washington.

JetBlue ROCKS!!!!!!

I am waiting on them to release their next round of fares, as we have to get home from FL at the end of February vacation. I am hoping it will be in the next couple of weeks. (If not sooner).

All things being equal, I would fly JetBlue whenever possible. As others have said, their planes are great, on board entertainment helps the flight go very quickly, and EVERY single person we interacted with was top notch.

If you can stand the wait, I would see what their fares are going to be. You mention March, so I assume you'll be bumping up against some Spring Break times, which is why the flights seem expensive. You may luck into a great fare on JetBlue, if you catch them right when they come out.

Good Luck

I'm a HUGE JetBlue fan!!! It's the only airline I'll use for BOS to MCO now. I just wish they'd fly more places. I think we've used them 3 times now. The TVs are awesome (especially when we take my stepkids - I'd pay extra for them then!) and the staff is fantastic - easily the best of all the airlines I've flown. From Boston, it's only direct flights - under 3 hours.

As far as fares go, here's what I've noticed. When the rates are first released, they are *super* high. Wait for them to drop, because they will. I booked my flight for this October in May for $200. I'm mad at myself, because they were lower in April (6 months out) but life got in the way and I forgot to book them until May and they had went up about $30. Unfortunately, I know they'll drop more, but I didn't want to take the chance on being shut out. The best prices seem to be 6 months out, and again at 3 months out. Definitely don't pay more than 200 for them, and watch them every week. I've gotten as low as $140 RT, because if you notice they price the two legs separately and the lowest they seem to go is $69 one way. The other thing is, they're nonrefundable, but you can make changes for $25 per person, so if the price were to drop by more than that, you can rebook and get the lower price minus the $25 p.p. fee.

Count me in as another JetBlue fan! I wish they flew out of MHT....I'd use them exclusively. Their fares are great and the best part is that you can reserve seats. I tend to bounce between them out of BOS and SW out of MHT.

I am very happy with Jet Blue. I now prefer Spirit, Blue and Song over the bigger airlines (although Song is Delta).

It's more laid back, the seats are a bit roomier and they have Directv! Gotta love it.

I used them a couple of times on business travel and loved them! Only wish they flew from PHL! Great service and comfortable seating! Would highly recommend!

jet blue is good. I've flown them to different parts of FLA ( haven't flown them to MCO yet) but I've recieved very good service them.

Although I'm flying Song on Monday to MCO.

I love jetBlue!

The only thing that makes me fly anyone else (Song or Southwest) is if I cannot find a good fare. That does happen and if so, because of the frequency that I now travel to MCO, I will fly others.

Ding rocks but cattle car does not. jetBlue has TV's, snacks, direct flights assigned seating and great FA's.

Now if only they flew out of Providence so that I can avoid Boston traffic.

I would like to try jet blue. I have heard many great things bout them. But i fly outta providence and they dont fly outta there. So i usually fly southwest. I hope they flt from pvd soon that will be great.

Jet Blue's customer service can't be beat. We often fly my MIL back and fourth from Boston to MCO and the last time her flight was delayed 3 hours due to airline problems and they gave her without asking a $50 voucher as an apology. I booked our flight for August in December and we're going for $69 each way.

Count me in as another satsified JetBlue customer.
I even go all the way to JFK instead of the easier to get to Newark to fly them..they are *usually* so much cheaper that it's totally worth it.,,and the TVs at every seat-priceless when you're flying with 2 little kids, like we do.
I am flying Song this upcoming trip, but only because the r/t $$ on JetBlue was over $200(we usually pay $140-$160 for them) and Song I snagged for $155 p/p.
If Song didn't have TVs as well, I would have ponied up the cash for JetBlue though.

I also love Jet Blue. I love them so much I am willing to go to Logan!! :earseek:
Have not flown out of the new terminal there yet, we are flying Oct.4 . We got free vouchers for participating in a promotion they had in boston last Feb.
