How's I-95 been lately?

We drove down from MD for the 1st time Easter week. I remember there was construction in GA ,and even though they weren't working on the weekends, it still slowed things down. Then from Jacksonville to Daytona there was heavy (beach spring break?) traffic. I-4 was smooth sailing until we hit Orlando, which is to be expected. We'll be going again at the end of the month, stopping for 1 night in Hilton head. I know lots of people drive down in the summer, but I'm hoping the traffic will be lighter since it's not a holiday, last time our 14 hr drive turned into 16hrs. Wondering how the drive is lately...

Traffic should be normal on I-95 at that time of the month. Right now all the local television stations are reflecting holiday traffic is expected this weekend.

Pre Super Bowl I-95 construction is still going on in Jacksonville. But not really any delays. The I-95/I-295 interchange construction just south of Jax is a freakin' mess!! Be careful.

6-laning in St Johns County (Just south of Jax) is complete. Finally!! Yaay!!

Some work is ongoing in Daytona area, but all in all, not too bad.

Thanks so much! Yes, I forgot to mention the JAX construction in my original post. Really glad to hear some of it is done! Anyone know if the GA construction is still ongoing?

That mess at the end of the 95/295 interchange has been on-going for a long time too. Any chance it'll be completed this century???
