hows does this work with onboard booking and Dreams unlimited?

I did onboard booking - and now I am ready to select my cruise.

1) do i call disney directly to select the cruise dates?

2) if i call disney directly to book and then transfer my reservation to Dreams unlimited - do i get the OBC from my on board booking AND more OBC from Dreams Unlimited?

JUst email dreams unlimited and tell them what you want and they book it. I try to be specific as possible (if you know what stateroom # you want etc) and they take care of everything. If you include your castaway club numbers, passport numbers, number if guests and ages and any other detail you think they need it saves a bunch of back and forth emails.

Depends... did you note them as your TA when you booked your holder? If not, you only have 30 days from the initial deposit with Disney to transfer it to DU but prior to that you can call DCL and set it up directly with them if you wish to do it via the phone and then contact DU to transfer. If you did note them already, then I would do as lizabu suggests - referencing your booking #!

is the $250 that i paid onboard considered the initial deposit? i didn't note DU when we did the onboard booking.

if i transfer to DU - do i still get my OBC from disney that was the original incentive ($200 for 7 night cruise)?
