Hi, all.
My name is Erin. Newcomer to the board but a Disney fan since the age of four.
When I was little my goal in life was to work for Disney as an artist. As I’m in my mid twenties now, the aspirations have changed only slightly, in that my goal now is to be an Imagineer at some point in my life. In fact, that goal is what drove me to get a degree in Aerospace Engineering. The short story involves thanks to Disney and History Channel’s “Modern Marvels” special on Disney Imagineering. However, currently I’m working as a contractor for NASA.
I’m married to a Disney nut so we both really try to save money each year to make a Disney trip. She and I have been together for about 7 years and have made it to Disney as many years. In fact, we made it to Disneyland Paris earlier this year and are going to Disney World in November as ‘guides’ for my in-laws (ie: we needed an excuse, lol).
We don’t have children, but we do have two beautiful golden retrievers who are as close to a child as we can afford right now, lol. I wish Disney would let them go with us, but I have a feeling Sadie and Sophie might be a bit scared of the Tower.
I hope I can be a contributor to this site in many ways and look forward to reading from others who share my love for Disney and also learn a thing or two from those much more experienced in the world of Disney (cheesy pun, eh?) than I.
