Howdy..newbie and fellow Texan here trying to plan for a early march trip..will be 1st time for everyone in fam..2 kids..2 1/2 and 10..both girls. i feel like i'm researching enough to write a doctarate thesis....any suggestions?

Whoo! First trip is a doozey with the kids! I definitley suggest a huge excel spreadsheet! I think you are in the right spot - there are lots of experienced folks here.
