Hello Everyone. I've never received a PIN before so I have no clue how people get them. Do you get them by mail, email, phone call? :goodvibes

Much like the infamous kabuki theater, there is a series of steps rumored to enhance one's chances of attracting the attention of the Pin Dispenser.

register an email (or more)
order the planning DVD for WDW
check "I want to receive offers"
save some itineraries and change them
answer the exit survey "not the value I was looking for"
wait for a pin
play with all the "fluff" emails you'll get (letterhead, DIY video, explore the resort)
give up hope
keep repeating until you get a pin

I am an AP holder, am registered on the Disney site as an AP holder and a regular visiter. I receive a lot of e-mail from Disney. You need to register for mail from them.

I received 2 pins in my e-mail and one in snail mail.

try calling and ask for 40% off , i have never had a pin # and for the past 3 years have gone 3 time a year by just calling asking for 40% off, just keep this in mind talk and decide on dates and rooms before u call , ask for 40% tell cm u are ready to book with creidt card inhand, i told 3 people at work this week to call they are always complaing about no pin# they always thought i was laying to them about it , one called and just asked got 40% off other 2 callled and both got it ,but remember have dates and rooms ready and card in hand if offered take it, my brother called and was just playing around about rooms and they gave him 40% off he was not ready to book yet did not talk about it with wife called back week later and could not get discount just be serious about it call ask cm for discount if offered then dont call back book right there on phone

my wife and i have both recieved pins over the years. mostly by email as of late. But my 12 yo daughter just got one by snail mail. Very weird. and it came to her grandparents house, so i have no idea how it ended up there but oh well. dont need it but at least i got her in the system for when she has a family, in 15 years or so,lol.

The one we used, my fiance got via snail mail (30/35/40). The Monster Pin, 40% off specific dates, I got via e-mail
