Anyone else sick and tired of Artie?
I had to stop listening to Howard when he first moved to Sirius radio (I had XM). I was so happy when the merge happened to be able to sign up and hear Howard again.
However, I hate Artie. I feel he adds little to any discussion or interviews save to blurt out curse words. Howard had some women on the other day, trying to win a prize (they had to sing; clothes were optional) and Artie kept making the most gross comments to the contestants. I actually think that as Artie 'recovers' from his addiction (which, good for him) the more obnoxious he gets.
Also: I feel that Howard Stern is not appreciated enough for his interviewing skills. His interview the other week with Francis Ford Coppola was fantastic. Unlike so many other interviewers, Howard actually listens to his guest and frames his questions in response to the guest's responses (unlike Larry King who has a list of prepared questions that, by gosh, he is going to ask, even if the guest, in response to the prior question, happened to mention in passing that he or she killed Elvis).
