howard johnsons motel

anyone have any input (pro or con) about the howard johnson motel. Also is there a bus to the parks that run from there or do you need a rental.

All I can say is YUCK. Stayed one night in June and will never do it again! The maidstaff was courteous enough to leave an ABL (already been licked) envelope for our use to provide her with a tip! LOL Truthfully though it was not a pleasant experience, everything is very old and in need of repair/refurbishment. If you need to use an offsite to save money consider the hotels in DTD. I don't know about the transportation for sure, but I think that you had to pay for a mears shuttle that arrived every so often. In the long run, a car would be best if you have to stay here. DTD hotels have reliable transportation included.
