i was wondering if anybody has stayed at Howard Johnson Maingate East 6051 Irlo Bronson Hwy. We are going to WDW early Dec. and got a great rate [29.00] only staying one night then checking into the Contemporary for 6 nights.

We're there as well for one night on Dec 4 before heading to the WL.
Check the Orlando attractions and resorts thread on this board. On page two there are some posts about HoJo-- I haven't come across any horrible info yet.

That's good to hear. DH and I may go during his spring break next year to look at homes and apts, and wanted somewhere to stay that would be clean, and not break the bank. They were offering rooms for $39...which for the time of the year, I didn't think was too bad. And since we won't be going to the parks, we weren't worried about shuttles or traffic getting there.

Hi eeyore,
Does that mean that you really are thinking of moving to Orlando and being a CM???? Lucky, lucky, lucky you!!

But can't you squeeze in just ONE visit to the parks? I don't know if I could be so close and not go ... but then again, I'm fairly new, just leading up to my second visit ... 11 months after the first!

BTW, I'm Belle and Fozzie too!

We stayed there in Feb for two nights (did Universal) then moved to CSP. It was not bad. IT was clean and I felt safe. YOu will be fine.
