Has anyone stayed here recently. Looks good in the pictures, but I'd like some first hand info.

Can't beat the price at $29.95 per night.

Have not been at it for about 4 years. However, it was great then. Much better value than price. Going by every year now on way to timeshares it still looks well kept.

I was at this hotel in jan 2001, Everything was perfect but the key for the rooms was a big problem, each day I was forced to ask to get it re-encoded (magnetic stripes) But everything else was perfect, I loved the heated pool (the water was really hot compared to the outside temp so we saw steam all over the pool, and it was kind of funny) I was in a regular room but next time I will get one with a microwave and fridge.

I have been there every year for the last 6 years except for last year, (went the quality suites on the next block). We are going to be there in August just because I like it and the transportation in a lot better then QS.

when you were quoted that $29.95 rate did you mention a coupon from Florida Travels magazine or somewhere else?

I called after reading your statement and got them to book me under that rate (she wouldn't cancel my old rate which was $39.95) and then told me my second room (kitchenette) went for $59.99, so I booked that too. I went and looked at my old ressies and noticed my kitchenette was booked for $49.95. I called back and asked to cancel 2 ressies (the $39 and the $59). That lady confirmed my new $29 room and my $49 room. Just before hanging up she said "AND MAKE SURE YOU BRING YOUR COUPON FOR THE $29 RATE   . What coupon I asked her, the other lady didn't say anything about a coupon. So she told me they won't honor that rate with out the coupon and one could be found in that FL travels.

So if you don't have a coupon, you need one and if there is somewhere in your neighborhood where you picked up one, COULD YOU PLEASE BE SO KIND AS TO MAIL ME ONE::yes:: .I could sure use that rate after paying for 10 people to go to WDW.

Anyone else going soon mind picking me up one I would be so thankful, thanks so much.:wave2:

No coupon when I reserved back in January.
I've since changed my plans though and am in a 2br condo,
so I haven't checked into it anymore.
