Stayed here our first night after driving 17.5 hours from NJ. Only reason we did this was because many of the great Disney rates began the next day. This place is on Route 192 and isn't too far from things. Wasn't the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen (the tub was fairly dirty), but at $29.95 I can't really complain, especially since we were so tired from the trip it didn't matter where we slept. They gave us coupons for kids eating free at the IHOP right in front of the hotel, so we used those for an early dinner, which was fine. The main pool area wasn't that bad either and they had a decent pool bar with TV.

I wouldn't stay here for a week, but for a couple of days or for a family on a tight budget, you could do worse.

Gregg, thanks for that info. I stayed there many years ago and it was not that clean back then. Maybe they need to do something about this.

It is in a great location and I would stay there for a couple of nights if I needed to save money.

Thanks for the info. We are staying there our first night since our flight doesn't get in until 11:30pm. We were going to spend our last night there since our flight leaves at 7am, but changed to POFQ. I just couldn't do it.......I wanted to kep the magic alive as long as I could!!!!!


Do you know how long of a drive it is from the airport?

Thanks for the info I am staying there in November( very, very tight budget..) but I do not plan on being in the hotel long enough to care about how clean it is...hopefully my baby won't wanna crawl all over the place there....

dedala -- it's really not that bad. Just the tub was a little "ickey" as my kids would say. Everything else was fine and you'll save a ton of $$$ by staying there!

Just spent a night at the HoJO Maingate East with reservations through DreamRes. Got the deluxe room for a few $$$ more. Not sure what made it deluxe but it did have a mini-fridge and a microwave. Nice pool. Pretty clean. Personnel at front desk could have been friendlier and I could have done without the 8 or 9 additional pieces of paper they push on you (ticket info, coupons, parking pass, rules and more rules). No elevator if you get a 2nd floor room.

Did use the IHOP coupon for free kids meal but the service was very sloooooooow.

Stayed here because we had flown to Miami to pick up a car and decided to use park hoppers with a couple days left on them during the trip back. You could definitely save money here but I would probably go back on-site for a longer stay. Definitely prefer using resort transportation to get to the parks before opening as opposed to being caught in the gate opening ceremony at the TTC and paying $6 a day for parking.

I stayed there recently and my room was VERY clean (including the tub!) Maybe I just had a better housekeeper. So if your room is dirty you might try asking for another one. Also, I called the front desk for a hair dryer and it was delivered in under 15 minutes.

I stayed there in Feb and my room was also very clean. In fact, I remember thinking about how clean the room SMELLED. I stayed for 6 nights, and everything was fine. Again, with everyone else who has stayed there.... ESPECIALLY for the $$$.

I agree with CarolA in that it must be the randomness of housekeeping.
