Considering staying here in Oct. I have found a rate of $67 incl tax. Is this a good rate for this time of year? any chance of it coming down if I wait or would you advise booking at this rate.
Thanks for any help.

If you are talking about the hojo's on harbor, that is a good rate. It used to be easy to get that rate, but since the 50th has started, its not so easy. Now, anything under $100 for that property is pretty good. I wouldnt wait, I would book it.

I agree, that is a good rate. If you have an entertainment card you can ask for that rate which is $49 per night (plus tax). I believe that is the cheapest rate available.

I forgot to add, I was told that if you book the room at a higher rate and a cheaper rate opens up (the entertainment card rate for example), they will let you change it to the lower rate.

Yes its the HoJo 1 block from Disneyland. If I go for this rate I doubt it can be lowered its an offer from a UK discount hotel provider and has to be paid in full when booked.
Also don't know about an Entertainment card not being from the area.
Looks like the best deal for the money, Can get cheaper places but this hotel seems to get reasonable reviews.

It is from the entertainment book that is sold through most fundraisers but if you look on mousesavers, you can buy one pretty cheap. It is full of coupons for your area, and is good for a few hotels. But there haven't been hardly any entertainment rates there this year!

We stayed at the HoJo in 2004 and loved it.

For the price it's a superb hotel. Clean, renovated, safe, great pool, a short walk from Disney, great staff, and while there's no breakfast, there is a great place across the street, Mimi's, and a good shop on site.

That rate is about as good as it gets, but to be sure, join mousesavers.com, and check out their rate for that week. They offer discoiunts of $5 - $10 on the best rate on the HoJo website.

We used the mousesavers discount and got a Disney view room for $80, and could have got the cheaper rooms for about the same rate you've been offered. Given it is 2 years later, and the 50th, the rate you've been offered seems good.

As others have said, it's a great rate for a very good hotel. I don't think you'll get better rooms for the money that close to Disneyland. That particular HoJo excells in customer service. If it all possible, for the rate, try to get a garden, pool, or theme park view. There are rooms that overlook the freeway, but most don't.

I agree with Dirk. I'm leaving for DL tomorrow morning, staying at HoJos. Wish I had that rate. This will be our 15th stay at HoJos so obviously we like it.
