I received an email from our IPO 184 days out from our trip. She had booked all of our dining requests except for BOG. BOG was booked & there were no openings. So, what I'm trying to figure out is, if we can't book our reservations until 180 days out & the IPO managed to book them before that time, how is it possible that BOG is already booked more than 180 days out from the date? I know it's popular & a hard ressie to get, but booked more than 180 days out seems odd. Maybe I'm missing something. Thoughts?

Because although your 180 day mark is in 4 days, there are many others who already reached their 180 day plus 10 mark before that, and they booked it up. I guess it is that popular. I have seen some on 180 + 10 having difficulty getting it.

It's also possible that it wasn't loaded yet. Try yourself at the 180 day mark.

Is this a short trip? If so your last days have probably already been reached by others who are coming in earlier and staying longer.

There is still hope. Lots of people are able to get BOG off of cancellations closer to their trip.

Good luck!

Your greatest chance of getting an ADR is to plan a 10 day vacation and book BoG for your last day. That way, you can book it 180+10 and no one (theoretically) can beat you to the punch. At 180+9, there will be one day's worth of people ahead of you, assuming those people have 10 day vacations. At 180+8, still more people (two day's worth of people with 10 day vacations and one day's worth of people who have 9 day vacations) ahead of you, and so on. At 180+2, it is not to hard to imagine BoG being full up.

IPO is a club level concierge.

I wasn't aware they were able to book before the 180 days though.

We tried to make a BOG ADR 180 days in advance online and nothing showed up as available. We had to call the dinning number and wait around with the cm on the line for quite a while until someone probably cancelled their ressie and the cm could slide us in. It ended up being for 9pm though. Maybe if you try calling yourself a couple times you could get lucky?

We were lucky enough to book in the 180+ window. It was early, but available. A few days later, more reservations opened up. Keep trying!

And good luck!

I got our reservation about 150 days out. I actually saw it one night and passed on it because it was after 8:00. Had second thoughts and found one the next night for 8:15. A few days later I was able to trade it for a 7:35. I check periodically to see if I can move it even earlier and have seen absolutely nothing, so I had a lucky stretch those first few days!

Stalk the website- keep the page open on your computer and check several times a day.

I was lucky enough to book it at 180 +10 window. I had to call Disney dining and book it that way. The website said that it was full. The CM initially said the same thing, but he didn't believe it so he click some buttons and got me my reservation when I wanted it. :)

Yes, BOG is almost always sold out. Usually the only way to get a ressie is to keep checking periodically and being lucky enough to find a cancellation before it is taken. We did that last year and ended up with a 7:30PM ressie about 15 days out after checking almost daily from the q8 day window.

This year, I checked once and gave up. While we loved our dinner last year, I have no intention of jumping through hoops to have a $200 dinner.

Good luck finding a reservation. I think BOG will always be one of the toughest reservations to get at WDW. We have the sam issue with the Wishes Dessert Party as well. Booked at 180+ and very little chance of opening up.

THIS^

We had a 9 day trip last summer. I called at the 180+10 day mark and booked for our last night of the trip. I as able to get an early ressie like we wanted.

We were there pretty early and saw about a half a dozen smaller parties (2-4) walk up about 15 minutes before they opened for dinner and ask for walk-in availability. All of them were actually seated right away at the begining of dinner.
