What program(s) are used to create the disigns? I would love to start creating some but, don't know how to? Are they free or do you have to purchase them?

Is PhotoImpact free?
I just looked it up and you can try a free trial, but I prefer something that's free.

I think that both PhotoImpact and PhotoShop have free trials. Here are a couple of free programs Paint.Net & Photoscape, but I don't know anything about them.

On Publisher how do you put a picture behind a calendar? I would like to try that first but not sure how to do it?

I've designed some stuff just by using Word. I find photos & clipart online & then insert them. The only problem that I've found is that I can't share my ideas. They print off & look great when I'm finished though.

I usually place my backdrop over the calendar template and then right-click, order, send to back. For each clip-art in each cell, place cursor in cell, right-click, format table, under color and lines tab, change fill color to fill effects, then choose picture tab. Hope that helps!

You can share word documents through Windows Live. Hope that helps!
