How Young is TOO Young?

I think everyone has great opinions on this subject. I love the fact that people are taking their children as young as 6 months. I want everyone to be my best friend. My husband and I always get negative comments about the planning of our Disney Trip in October 2005 when our son is 5 years old. Especially with relatives, they say he will still be too young. We have a Disney fund since I was pregnant. I have no idea why 5 will be too young and then probably when he is in school they will say don't take him out of school for Disney. So the next time there is a family gathering I want all The Big Disney Fans with me to back me up. HAHA! You are my kind of people...Disney People!

I don't really get why people think a child can be too young to go to Disney World. I mean no one says 'Don't go to the beach until your child is 7 years old' or any other vacation spot. I know a WDW vacation can be expensive, but my trips to Phoenix and Naples, FL last year were just as expensive, if not more. We didn't have a child at the time but we have a 9 week old now and she'll be going to WDW in 2.5 weeks, again in June and on a Disney cruise, and then to San Francisco in July. People question me about bringing her to WDW but not to San Francisco, which I don't understand since we live in DC so to me Florida seems much easier than travelling across the country, plus Disney is the most child friendly vacation spot we've been to.
