How you know when your getting old thread

I had this epiphany last week. I tried to watch the MTV Video Music Awards and I had no idea who half the people were. I didn't think I was old...I am definitely old.

When the following is "the GOOD OLD DAYS" ---

I'm doomed. My knees have creaked since since I was like 3 and I'm 62 now. Got that from my mom. And passed it on to my daughter.

Ha! That was not my experience two weeks ago in Disney and it is very humbling to have a young person jump up so I can sit!

A couple days ago I needed to withdraw more cash from my bank account than you're allowed to via the ATM so I went inside the bank--something I hadn't done in a while.

The teller looked at my withdrawal slip and said "THAT's your account number?!" I didn't know what she was talking about, but she called two other bank employees over to look. One looked at my withdrawal slip, then looked up at me and said, "WHEN did you GET this account?!"

Apparently they don't see account numbers like mine anymore. Not sure what they meant by that--it's not like my account number is 000000001.

young people have no concept of age, they see someone who might be 40, they think you got one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel, but if I do run into a polite niaeve young person, I just give them what they think , Ill say somehting old " bless your heart sonny "

I remember seeing this and when I was in college! We had parties and just watched MTV.

I feel old when I watch TV shows on retro outlets, like MeTV, and I remember the episode from its original airing, many decades ago.

Ha i am only 34 and until I got my blood results back i was crying saying how can i be dying at such a young age luckily i just need to drink more water but it preception and i was worned my blood will be taken every month till they see a improvement
