Hi! I was at WDW last March, after about 8 weeks on WW. I made a plan before I went and stuck with it, knowing that I only eat "Disney" specialty items when I'm at WDW (which is to say once a year or every other year).
I promised myself to:
-NOT drink my points (that meant no regular pop or sugar/cream in my coffee)
-listen to my body and not eat a dessert simply because it was there
-eat and enjoy my favourite sweets (Gaston's Cinnamon Bun and a caramel-covered apple from the Germany pavillion at Epcot)
-try to choose main meals that were slightly healthier and eat vegetables first from my plate
I walked 20,000 steps a day, so that helped, too.
I came home and had gained 1 pound, which was off the next week. I'm going again this March and plan to stick with the same plan of attack. I had a lovely time, ate what I wanted, and felt great about it. I didn't overdo it, but I had the treats I loved.
