How would you split up Poly?

Yes. My scenario is way way different than yours. I was researching and buying a contract specifically for 2 bed stays. But imagine my shock when I was comparing a 2 bed at Boardwalk vs a 2 bed at Poly. I almost spit out my drink! As you know I bought BW. (im not recommending that to you) I think it's important to look at what you want from that specific contract before buying to avoid any disappointment in the future.
My 60 year old self is telling me she is tired of split stays. But then she can go every 3 years then. I know i sound crazy

My husband put a kabosh to my split stays.
My wife wants to too. I considered telling her dvc changed the rules and only allows 5 nights in one hotel at a time because all members share thats why its called a timeshare and all members need to have a fair chance to stay. Not sure it will work.

The pass is pretty good. Problem solved if you just move to Florida. 😂 The pass is what $1000 per year savings for 2 people? Haven't compared to buying tickets for 2 or 3 trips.
Tickets in december are off the hook. Same for when we were gunna go in April. I think september is better

If I dont like lsl I literally dont think direct is worth it for me right now. I wish it was opening this year

I'd keep it as one contract at Poly as you'd need that higher amount of points (at least) for a single trip.
I'm debating between Poly and VDH and if Poly it would be 1 contract. If VDH it would be split into two 75 pointers as I would tend to only need about 75 points per trip to Disneyland.

I saw the question asked, but missed the answer... why 160 points?

Because then I would have 750 points and im one ssr contract away from 1000 😆

I would personally keep one 150 point, two 75 point, or three 50 point contracts. That would be enough to give you membership extras. You could sell everything else and have access to whatever the perks are at the time.

Buying 160 points to even out BLT, AKV, and SSR sounds good right now, but what if you end up selling one of those? I would buy the number of points you need to secure that accommodation you want at PVB in the 7-11 month booking window. If that's 200 points maybe buy 150 and 50.

You've also mentioned UY preferences and even possibly retitling some contracts. If you dislike BLT maybe flip it and load up on PVB for the MK resort area. I forget which UY each of your contracts sit in, but this could save you time and money retitling.

i'm kind of late to the party but recently i decided to get 200 points direct (at CCV) and split it at 100 each (and to sell my BLT resale, sorry BLT buddy). Too much hassle trying to manage too many contracts. I wanted to balance the headache versus extremely unlikely scenario that i would sell this direct contract. I thought about 50/50/100 or even 75/75/50 but it didn't make sense for me as this will be the LAST contract i will get rid of if stuff hits the fan so money gained is probably minimal.

My reasoning for 200 points was that i needed to buy enough points to make the home booking period worthwhile and be able to book the whole trip as our family does NOT like split stays and transferring hotels.
