Arriving on a Thursday in the early afternoon, leaving on the following Tuesday in the early evening. Kids are ages 4,7 and 9. We are tenatively going to Hoop De Doo on Sunday, and have Cindy's ressies on Friday - but other than that we are open to suggestions.
We are debating b/t LOS passes and park hoppers... It's hard to decide!

Are you early morning risers? If so then I'd try to hit a few EMH. I'm assuming you're on site if you're thinking of using UPH. Whether to use EMH or not will greatly influence the when's and where's.

Your pass depends on what all you will plan to do, if you want to go to a water park or disneyquest at Downtown disney, then get the UPH, if not get the length of stay pass. I would map out an itinerary preferrably around the EMH, if you don't mind getting up early. I would also plan to visit Magic Kingdom on any day except Monday, it always seems to be the busiest day there. For us, Animal Kingdom and MGM were half days for us. DD4, and DS6, just weren't that interested in AK after we did the must do's, same for MGM, but we spent til 4 in Epcot, and spent 3 days in the MK. HTH

Definitely get the parkhoppers. I would probably skip the waterparks and spend a day each on each park. Take your time and don't become a park commando. It's sad how many people just stampede through the Animal Kingdom.

Any time left over could be spent at the pool or Downtown Disney.

I hope you have a great trip!:D

With 5 days I would spend one day at each park and the 5th day park hopping to all our favorites for one last time.

GOOD CHOICE! Since you really can't spend a whole day (morning til late evening) at AK and MGM is a bit iffy as well, you can hop on those days also. Have a great time.

Yes really hit all the parks, at night go to dtd and go to disney quest. IT will be great for the kids. The Mighty Duck pinball is really a workout. :) It is truly fun.

Thanks for all your suggestions!!! We are early risers, so the early morning enteries will work for us. We can't wait!!!

Hi
We just came back from 5 days at Disney , kids are boys ages 8 and 11.
We had the Ultimate Park Hopper and loved it!
We would go to an ee park, then to a water park in afternoon (as soon as ee park got busy) then do another park at night.
This worked great for us, I think the kids had better stamina because of the water parks in the afternoon. Both boys put the water parks at the top of their list of most fun at WDW!
We also went to Disney Quest on our first morning at WDW (the boys choice). It was Monday AM and empty! We walked on to everything with no waits and were able to do everything they wanted in about 4 hours. Then had an early supper at Planet Hollywood and went to Epcot for evening.
We also used our car and drove everywhere .We had used bus before but found using the car much more relaxing and made park hopping easy. Often going to a park in the late afternoon early evening we could get parking very near the entrance to a park and again using ee we always had parking near the gates. This also made it easy getting to waterparks for afternoon, we just kept all our swimming stuff in the car (plus some treats that the boys could eat in between parks, the driving was alomost like a mini break between parks).

I am assuming this is the kids' first trip to WDW. I personally would spend Thursday afternoon and Friday at MK, then MGM early entry Saturday. Now the decision has to be made if we would do MK one more day. If so then MK EMH on Sunday. Monday we would do Epcot and then decide whether to repeat a park on Tuesday (I would do EHM @ MGM) or go to AK (IMO completely skippable for a first trip, others vehemently disagree).

I just feel that MK is too wonderful to try to "see it all" in just a day and a half and the fact that you really cannot see it all. The other parks are hit or miss depending on what you or your kids like. My wife is tired of MGM but I love it. She likes Epcot and I think it is okay. We both agree that AK is not great. We went back to AK many days and did all the shows to make sure we gave the park a fair shake but still came to the same conclusion. Our kids (3 and 6) rank them MK ----------> MGM (tie) Epcot ---> AK.

Anyway, that is what I would do.

Chuck
