How would you plan your itinerary based on these facts?

We will arrive at Pop Century on Thrusday morning - Dec. 2nd.(we will have already been in Florida 2 days at my sister's place).. We have to pick up a friend at the Orlando bus station around 11:15 a.m..

We have only 4 full days for the parks - flying out to return home on the 7th.

We have tickets for MVMCP on that evening - the 2nd - and I am trying to organize a DIS meet at closing near the train station in MK while everyone else is making a mad dash for the parking lot and busses..

Friday - at 1 p.m. - my son-in-law and his Dad are scheduled for the Richard Petty driving experience (already reserved and paid for).. Obviously we all want to be there to see that and take pictures so I was thinking that the best park to be in - leave - and return to - would be Epcot, so we aren't missing any parades..

I would also like to organize a smaller DIS meet for breakfast at the Pop, but that could be just about any morning..

I definitely want to do the character breakfast at Chef Mickey's but can't decide what day would be best for that.. Don't think it can be the day we fly out, because we have to take my friend back to the bus station that day around 10:30 or so..

Must sees are Osborne Lights, Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade, Disney MGM Parade and Wishes..

If this were you, how would you schedule these things? Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there. How about something like this:

Thursday 12/2 Dis meet at 6:00 pm at Train Station
MVMCP 7-midnight
Friday 12/3 Epcot or MK in morning (I think MK is actually closest to the Race track.)
1pm Richard Petty Driving Experience
PM Epcot

Saturday 12/4 AK in morning and afternoon See parade
MK at night for Wishes (yes it's Saturday and will be crowded, but I figure you can guarantee Wishes on this night. I would probably change it to another night if it's offered when the hours come out)

Sunday 12/5 Dis meet at PC for breakfast
MGM, see Osborne lights and parade

Monday 12/6 Revisit whatever park(s) you would like to based on attractions you want to do again or missed the first time.

That's a pretty cool plan because we always like to go back to MK on our last day and I couldn't quite figure out how we were going to do that with only 4 park days!

Anyone else have suggestions?

The only thing I thought about changing is the arrival time for MVMCP....you can get to the park at 4 p.m. already, since you arepaying extra for this, personally I would hope to be there at the very, very start!

That would be awesome! Like an extra day at MK - but when I asked the CM they said we couldn't get in before 7 p.m. unless we used a day of our park passes.. :(

C.Ann....go to the MVMCP thread at the top of this board...so a search...I am positive that you can start entering the park earlier than 7...for crowd control if nothing else! The people who are already there, using a day on their passes can make ps for LTT and I have read that Tomorrowland is an area of the park that is a "holding tank" of sorts...please read the thread, I would hate to have you miss a few hours of precious time if you did not have to!

Duh, I don't know why I didn't think of that. Yes, you should definitely head to the MK at 4. For both MNSSHP and MVMCP they start letting people in at 4. If by some realy off the wall chance they didn't, you could always go tour one of the monorail resorts for a little while. They definitely let you in no later than 6 though. Like the other poster said, if for no other reason than crowd control.

you mentioned wanting to do chef mickey's for breakfast... since you'll be in florida already, and you have to head over to the bus station at 11:15, maybe make 9:30 CM ps' for your first day? it's a great way to start a disney vacation :)
