For spring break this coming March I'd like to go away... of course the only place i'd go would be the world... heres my dilemma... Ive talked my best friend into going away with me on spring break since shes got to use up her vaction time at work... we had discussed going to Washington DC but it will still be winter and i would like to go to someplace a little warmer... shes not really a disney fan at all ive got her to go to the world twice and she went once when she was a kid i figure if i tell her theres a new coaster (EE) that'll be open that may perk her interest since shes a real big coaster buff but EE may not be previewing yet we are going mid march like march 12-17th I could also pull its for my birthday which is march 12th but i dont think that would take.....

any one have any suggestions to get a non disney person to disney?

I can see your point in not wanting to go to DC and wanting to go someplace warmer! If your friend is not a Disney fan ( I couldn't possibly see how anyoune could not like Disney), but anyway, I would not pressure her to go, especially if she's already went with you 2 times before. She was probably just doing it to appease you since you are her friend.

According to your signature, you've been to WDW so many times that missing out on a spring break trip to the world is not going to hurt you. I would do what your friend wants to do this year and maybe plan a trip to wdw at another time with someone who will appreciate it.

If you end up tricking your friend or guilting her into going to wdw just because you want to go may make her angy with you. Besides, Disney is not cheap, and she may hold a grudge towards you because she would rather be spending her time and money someplace else.

Maybe you two can come to an agreement on vacationing in a warm place. How about Disney's hilton head resort? Its warm, it's not "really" Disney world, but you can still get your disney fix.

Okay, This is all just my Opinion, but I hope it helps.

There is always Disneyland!! Then you could tour LA a bit...maybe ygo to The Price is Right...
I'd ditch her now. Do what YOU want to do! She still has plenty of time to arrange her vacation.
(This is why I dont have many freinds...)

Whatever you decide, communication is key. The other posters had great ideas. I'd talk about it now though, and not let it get too late so your friend knows you are thinking about somewhere else.

Good luck! You'll have fun no matter where you go. (So go to WDW! You ARE on the DIS boards!)
