How would you grade Concourse?

I know there are better restaurants...and I know there are better steaks around. But overall, what grade would you give the food and total experience at Councourse Steakhouse?
We need one more restaurant to round out our upcoming trip.
We love Chef Mickey's...but just for breakfast. We were thinking of Concourse as a final night send-off. Thanks!!

Here was our review from our honeymon this past August. Please note that this was a lunch, not dinner:
Lunch at Concourse Steakhouse (Contemporary)
H- Shellfish Bisque - garnished with chives
H- 8 oz. Grilled Filet Mignon - roasted garlic smashed potatoes and red wine butter and sautéed mushrooms
H- Virgin Pina Colada

A- Five-Onion Soup - with melted Gruyere, Provolone and Parmesan cheeses
A- Oven Roasted Mushroom and Linguini - toasted with roasted mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, herbs and parmesan cheese
A- Banana chocolata drink
H/A Strawberry shortcake
$91.59

We were feeling really bloated by this time in our trip, so I fear that we enjoyed the Concourse a little less than if we had dined here off plan. Having just come from our parasailing excursion, our stomachs were also a little off kilter. We had PSs just after the opened, at 12 noon. The drinks were very good and probably should have substituted them for our desserts. My five-onion soup was quite tasty and they did a good job on it. But it did taste just like onion soup. The mushroom linguini was recommended by our server as a nice, light alternative, but it still felt quite heavy after several forkfuls. I think it was a bad choice and should have gone with something else. The strawberry shortcake, on the other hand, went down very easily and I nearly ate the whole thing, even though it was supposed to be shared.
Heather’s shellfish bisque was really good, and she ate it (perhaps too) quickly. The filet with mushrooms was just overkill. She ate the ‘taters but the half pound of beef, while well prepared and tasty, was simply too much for my 96 lb bride.
We had a nice high-back booth that helped keep down the sound of Chef Mickey’s next door. The restaurant was very open, what with being on the concourse level, and I felt it was a nice contrast to some of the darker establishment on property. Our server was quite friendly, but she definitely became less attentive as the place filled up and her “I’ll be right back as soon as I….” lost all veracity. I would likely come back here, but maybe just for apps and a fun drink.

It is about par with a mid-range steakhouse. We enjoy it as it is a little dark and a bit quieter than many WDW eateries.

Agree it is a mid-range spot--I'd give it a C+, maybe a B-.

But I find it to be a bit more noisy than many other WDW hotel spots--what with the monorail, Chef Mickey's next door, and all the general hullabaloo in the area generally.

I think I'd give it a B for food, C for atmosphere, B for service. Overall it's a good value, but I wouldn't choose it for a special meal.

Its pretty good. The prime rib is excellent as is the cappacino mousse dessert. Its not Yachtmans or Shulas but overall it is a good restaurant.

We love it and never miss a visit there. I like the Kansas City steak. Desserts are great too. Atmosphere isn't the best but the service has always been excellent. We like it better than Yachtsman and much much better than Canada!

Food was good . . .service was slow (very) . . .and it was pretty noisy with monorail coming through right above you . . .oh yeah, and the little birds flying around . . .landing to scam some crumbs.

Yup, they fly in the monorail entrance and tend to nest amongst the rafters and iron works. With all the food down below, they must have a pretty sweet life (for being inside).

We tried it for the first time last trip and LOVED it. DH and another friend had steak and said it was great. We had no problem with the service.... or birds;). It was noisy but that did not cause any problems.

We liked Concourse, and we'd rate it a 6.5-7/10. We have only been for lunch, though. Our server was really sweet, and as there were only about 6 tables seated in the entire restaurant, she was very attentive. It's not a must-do for us, but we wouldn't go out of our way to miss it, either.
