How would you describe your family and who enjoys your dvc memership

I was never married in life
I did not have any children in life

I often take my mother and/or my brother and his daughter.
I often take friends and their children, with me to BCV.

It's just DH and I...

Over the last 8 years, we have brought both sets of parents over (and sent them by themselves) many, many times. My mother LOVES DVC and will come over any time I invite her!!

For my 30th bday, we got a GV and 2BR at OKW for our immediately family (12 of us) and did an Illuminations cruise. They all still talk about it...

We've brought my niece and nephew over for both of their HS graduation presents - got a GV at OKW for nephew... he brought a bunch of his guy friends and they golfed. For my niece, we got a studio and 2BR at Wilderness Lodge. Those crazy kids wanted to stay in the room and watch videos - go figure!!!

We bring friends over a lot! This past weekend, we had cousins over Saturday night... then they left on Sunday and another group came in... We had a blast!

So I guess you could say - everyone around us enjoys our DVC!!!

We knew we would love DVC but did not know how much we would love it. We have had 2 wonderful trips to BWV, 2 awesome trips to OKW, 1 super trip to HH, and tomorrow is supposed to be our 1st trip to WLV.

I am 53 and my sister is 53. We are twins. My children were grown when we joined and we NEVER travel alone. We love taking friends and family with us. We had so many wonderful trips there with our Mother before she passed away. It is so much fun to take someone to WDW who has never been. The looks on their faces when we go into our GV are priceless. The kids still love to go and my daughter husband is just as hooked. My son took his girl friend this last Sept and now she is hooked. We love our HOME and can't wait to get back next May.

We are both in our fifties.
Our Children are in the mid-late 20's.

Our first trip was with my Mom and the kids. We celebrated our youngest daughter's 21st birthday and had a wonderful Boardwalk View!

Last year we spent Christmas and New Years at BWV's! it was awesome!

We have gone on two Carribean cruises on the Magic (Western and Eastern).

We never thought we would have so much fun using our points! What memories!

23 yo DS has never been to DVC but to Disney many times (as all the rest of us) and loves it, in fact is getting married July 2004 and is honeymooning, Disney cruise 3 day and Poly 4 days.
25 yo DS loves DVC and has been now (he and DSIL own 150 BCV) 2 times 5 nights at OKW. and 5 nights at VWL.
DSIL, DH and myself (DH and I just bought 150 at SSR) have spent 5 nights at OKW, and 4 at BWV.

I send my brother and his family every year - 2-bedroom - I generally take my mother or friends - I have also send co-workers, friends, my cousin and his family, some people who couldn't have gone otherwise and some work associates - it is a wonderful!!!!

oh must not forget my solo trips!!!!

Late 40s for myself and wife. Two daughters in college (one graduating this coming May!) We all have made multiple trips to Disney. Wife and I REALLY enjoy it. The daughters are more beach fanatics (they loved VB this past May).

Over the years we have visited 33 times (30 to WDW) for about 150 days (140 at WDW) on Disney property. We have stayed at almost every WDW resort and have enjoyed each one. Our non-DVC top picks are probably Grand Califonian in DL and AKL in WDW. But that should only indicate that they are on the top of a very impressive list of resorts. In DVC we love OKW, BCV and VB. We have not tried VWL or HH yet but have trips in the planning stages. BWV was fine, but we like the BC/YC/BCV complex more. We also look forward to SSR opening as we enjoyed our stays at the old DI.

We also look forward to a week on DCL, having done a four day cruise and really enjoyed it.

We love Disney and before DVC went to WDE about every two years. With DVC we are now able to go every year.

Mostly friends have went with us on our trips however I believe family is waiting patiently for their turn

We usually travel with our grown children and their SO's or other family and friends. We even take an occational trip alone! Just love the flexibility of DVC!

We take my parents, sis and her bf to WDW with us in January and usually stay at BWV (our home resort). We also all go in the summer but we stay at different resorts (not necessarily DVC).

At T'giving just the 4 of us go to HH.

We also cruised w/o the kids for our 10th anniversary a few years ago.

We love DVC and the flexibility it allows us. It's been a wondeful way to vacation with my family. One of the best decisions we ever made!

We plan on mixing trips; sometimes, just the two of us, others with friends (fingers crossed). Then when DS meets the DGF that will become his DW and they produce DGS and DGD, we'll be taking them.

DH & I are both in our 40's -- both at different ends of that decade (DH is the older one of our to two of us ). We have 2 sons -- DS9 & DS3.

We have spent a week every summer at HH and plan on doing this for many years to come. We never really planned on going to WDW as often as we have. Since we've bought in and started going, we've changed our tune to "when can we go again".

We don't have family we would travel with. So, it will be the 4 of us. As the boys get older, if they want to invite a friend, we will have enough points/room to allow them to do that.

We have been to HH with DFIL and stepmother and we have been to BCV with MIL. I've taken my mom to BCV and this summer we are taking my parents, DB and SIL to BCV, this will be SIL 1st trip to the world!!!! Next summer ('05) we have a trip planned with MIL, SIL, BIL, and the arrival due 5/04!!

MIL and SIL own a joint contract, and we (DH and I) own with FIL. MIL is taking DS in 10/04 for their first "solo" trip together.
It's great that everyone has their own points, so we can share, get large accomodations, and/or stay for longer periods of time!!

The two oldest DDs are my DWs and DS is mine. 4 month old DD is "ours." Since we have 4 kids one weekend and just the baby the next while the others are at their other parents, we have always planned most trips on those "alone" weekends. Since we have the baby now, we've been 3 times and she went once with us and probably more in the future. We do 1 family trip a year in June with all the kids and usually MIL to help herd the flock. This year since DW was pregnant we went to BCV for SAB and no parks. Just enjoyed the resorts. We normally go 4+ times a year, we just got back Thanksgiving and that was our 6th . Only have 3 trips currently planned for next year but still have 73 points left over starting in Aug.

We have owned for only a year now, so we have traveled with just the immediate family. Although MIL & FIL "visited" us last May and were quite impressed with our 1-bedroom home at BCV.

We do plan to invite extended family once we have the points to do so. Right now we are burning through our yearly allotment with 2 - 3 trips per year. I'm sure eventually we will get that down and be able to bank points for a larger unit. Yeah, right!

We live very close to Disney (25 mins) so we love sharing with my Family from Indiana when they come down. We bought at Vero Beach for us. DH loves to surf and be near the ocean. Once DH finishes Paramedic School and I have the baby we will be planning a trip with DH's sister and brother and their kids.

We like a crowd! We like to invite others along for the fun. We have taken my mom, and last trip we took sil, bil, and their son. Next trip (Aug 04), we are taking them again, in addition to their newest ds (my godson and nephew, born this week!) We also usually vacation w/ my sister and her dh and their 2 dds (they are also DVC owners.) We're hoping to convert sil/bil into DVCers too -- then we can widen our travelin' herd even further! THe kids just seem to enjoy it more when there's lots of family, and so do we adults!
