How will KTTW work for DVC stay?

We stayed at Pop last yr via MYW vacation package so our KTTW card was used for everything including dining.

We joined DVC in October and will be staying at SSR in July. We will segment and get DDxP for 1 night. For our park tickets, we are looking at buying the 10 day NE if we have decided that we are really not going within 1 yr.

So does mean our KTTW can not be used for park entrance? Will front desk add the tickets to our KTTW? After our stay, will we get a different card or do we keep the KTTW? We have a guest who will have a military discounted ticket and will be arriving at a later time. Should I ask her to checkin so she can have her tickets added to the room key or can this be done the next day? I feel bad since it so late so I'm wondering if she should just go straight to the room.

Also, I thought EMH is based on Disney resort stay. So we need to show room key to prove this?

How will they know who can stay for EMH, I forgot if they gave us wristbands to distinguish one from the other?

I have read that they can put tickets on the KTTW card but recently read someone had trouble doing this.

We always keep our tickets separate and just bring both. The KTTW will have your dining credits on it just as before.

If you have the non-expiring tickets, IMO, I would not load them as you would then have to keep the KTTW cards for the next trip and it might be much easier ot accidently forget those are the tickets than actual tickets.

HAve a great time!

I would not put non expiring tickets on the KTTW card. It just confuses things for the next trip if that's how you are doing it. Dining credits will be on your KTTW card though, and if it's easier for you...go for it. We always do APs, and it's no big deal to have a room key seperate from your park pass.

EMH is only for Disney Resort guests and those staying at the Swan and Dolphin Hotels. You will need to show your KTTW card for Morning EMH to enter the park and at the rides/attractions for Evening EMH.

for the evening they don't make non guests leave. What they do is ask you to show your room key if staying on site to get on the rides and attractions.

Thank you everyone for your responses.:thumbsup2

Keeping park tickets and room key separate makes sense.
