How will I recognize anyone?

OK,
I know many folks, including me, us have WISH shirts and all but because of the extreme cold next weekend most of us will have our shirts 3 layers deep I have a WISH visor too but may be wearing a hat (non WISH) this time because of the cold.

I'd be fine if I finally strip down to the bottom layer but not sure that is going to happen.

So, how are you all going to designate you are WISH? I might try to wear my visor over my stocking cap

I plan on wearing my WISH hat, and probably wearing my WISH shirt with a long sleeve layer underneath. At least that is the plan right now...that could change by tomorrow!

Since I'm new here, I don't have a WISH shirt or a hat. I'll just have to get down to my bottom layer, a tie-dyed running shirt, quickly so you can recognize me by that.

it will be really hard to find everyone, usually I see a sea of green and head for it, not sure what I will do this time!

Back at the ToT 2007 race I had ordered personalized bibs from Races2Remember. Mine says "I'm walking for WISH Racing Team" The border is lime green (lucky that!) and will safety pin it to my outer jacket. Otherwise I will be wearing a shirt under my WISH shirt.

I'm heading to Mom's this afternoon (who will be at AK for Full & MK for Half) to have her try on shirts over her jacket.

Sandy.. Great idea! and now that you mention it I'm not remembering seeing my name tag! So will go thru my bag again to make sure it made it in there last night I will pin that to the back of my hat.

Whichever jacket I wear on either day I will try to keep it unzipped as much as I can till I take it off.

For our first WISH Walkers group someone got green fleece and cut them into wide strips for all of us to wear like scarfs. I paid it forward one year and cut strips a little less wide though. These were distributed at the Friday meet. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to the store for fleece or if there will even be that color available.

I've got a green shoe lace that I will have tied somewhere on my waistpack, but that is not as visible unless you are right on top of me as you pass by.

I have a bunch of WISH tattoos that Jeff so kindly sent me a few months ago. I'll have one of those on my face, I'm thinking....and can bring extras to the W area before the race for anyone who wants them.

I just had an idea while packing!

Ok so we will all be wearing clothing that we are planning to throw away anyway so I thought I might get one of those sharpie markers that they give away at the expo (hopefully a green one!) and then I will write WISH on the back of all of my layers, and maybe on the front too! I will just decorate myself!

I'm starting to wonder if I should be a Jacket and my Running Tights.

I like the idea of taking my throw away sweatshirts and writing WISH on them. Maybe I wouldn't need a jacket then. Hmm.

I hope to be wearing my WISH shirt over something and my ROTE hat as well. Here's hoping for a slight warm up from what the forecast says.

Here ya go Duane. Official WISH attire for running in cold weather. Everyone please keep in mind, race start was about 32 degrees or so that year:
