How will D23 Expo affect crowds?

We have 6 days in Anaheim that overlap with D23. Historically, how has the Expo affected crowds in the park? We have 3 day parkhoppers and like to rope drop, leave the parks mid-afternoon and return for nighttime entertainment. And I know it’s anybody‘s guess really, but how likely would it be that they start OBB before/during D23? Thanks all, looking forward to our first visit since 2019!
