My daughter would love to get soaked, but I just want the fun without getting wet. Will having a poncho on help prevent from getting soaked? If not, I may need to develop a different touring plan with the consideration of how soaked we will get.
Thanks for the great info!
Poncho usefulness:
Jurassic Park--Very Effective. Wearing a poncho will keep you mostly dry. Your face may get wet.
Ripsaw Falls--moderate at best. Sit in the front (if you fit!) and get your feet as far in as possible. If you're lucky, you won't get too wet and your feet might not get that wet at all. Your face may get wet. Sit anywhere else in the log and your legs and feet may get wet. If you use a cheap poncho, disregard this message. Cheap ponchos are mostly useless on this ride.
Popeye & Blutos--worthless.
One Fish Two Fish--Very effective. Sit on the inside (if you can) and fly your fish well. You may not get too wet.
