the crowds last week Feb 19-23 for anyone who was there?

I ask because my kids get that entire week off school every year and this year we had planned to go but had some financial problems arise and had to cancel. I have a trip planned for NEXT year at the same time and my husband's boss just got back and said it was NOT crowded so wanted some more input. I am hoping it was just bad LAST year cuz of the 50th and perhaps it has gotten better.

the weekends seems pretty busy. of course i wouldnt know because i got stuck at New Orlean sqaure at nights. Splash Mountain down, Fantasmic down, the railroad is down, theres really nothing out there.

but it felt crowded.

The 17-18th (Sat-Sun) were crowded, but the rest of the week wasn't bad. We stayed until late Thursday and never had too long of waits thanks to fast passes. On Wednesday afternoon the line for Peter Pan was only 30 minutes at 4pm, which to me shows the crowds were low! It was a really great week to go, and I would do it every year if possible. The worst part is the off season trade off with the ride closures, but even with a few major things closed it was our best Disney trip ever.

Thanks guys. I kind of figured the weekends would be bad cuz they pretty much always are esp the first weekend with the holiday and such. We weren't even supposed to have arrived till Monday night and were going to go to the parks tues through Fri and come home on Saturday.

I know where I live not even every school district in my own town gets the whole week off and last week a lot of people looked at us funny that my kids were out of school so I personally hope it stays that way so that could be a good week to vacation without taking the kids out of school!
