How were crowds this past Thanksgiving weekend?

Can anyone who was at the parks this past weekend give their perspective on the crowd levels? I'm thinking specifically of Thanksgiving day itself and the three days after. I'm considering a future trip at Thanksgiving, and am fine with mid-summer types of crowds levels. But if it's wall-to-wall madness, it sounds a lot less appealing. Thanks!

We were at DCA on Saturday and I was honestly shocked at how empty it was. At 11:30 we pulled FPs for Soarin' and they were for 12:50-1:50 return. We waited five minues for Luigi's tires at about 2:30.

We had grandma with us, so we were mostly eating at Carthay -- not too many rides. But we strolled down Radiator Springs and did quite a few Photopass photos.

Wondering what DL was like on Saturday.

Was there on Thursday/Thanksgiving. Disneyland was pretty crowded, but CA was fairly light.

We had 5 min waits on Grizzly RR, California Screamin and Mermaid at night.

Thursday was Definately the lightest of the 3 days I was there last week. Tues-Thursday.

We were there Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We stayed onsite and had EMH each day. So we did DL on Thursday, DCA on Friday and DL again on Saturday. For the first time, we chose to buy non-park-hopper tickets. So we couldn't hop if the park we were in was busy.

We got a TON done during each EMH and immediately after. But on all 3 days, by 11:00 a.m. everything was a long wait and very crowded. In my opinion, if Pooh, Buzz and Monsters are all 25 minute waits, then you know it is crowded.

But once it got too crowded we used fastpasses, enjoyed attractions like Aladdin, Turtle Talk, Tiki Room and Pirates Lair and then left each day by about 1:00.

So yes it was crowded, but with EMH or well-planned rope-drop mornings, you can still do a lot. We did everything we wanted to do and still had time to relax and take it all in.

We were at Disneyland on Friday (the 28th). It was very quiet from opening until about 10 am (we were still able to walk right on HM at 10 am). But then it started getting busy. By 11, the security lines were almost all the way back to where the tram path is and the walk ways in the park were getting really full.

I'm not sure how it was the rest of the day because we were just there for Candy Canes anyway. So we picked up our canes and headed home at 11.

I had hoped for some of the lighter crowds we have read about in previous years (due to APs being blocked, etc) but it looked to be very busy that day.
