How were boats between Epcot and HS tonight?

Arriving at WDW tomorrow afternoon. Trying to make it to Epcot for a 4:30 TT FP. DD13 wants to go to Japanese pavilion. Because of rain on Sunday, I'm thinking of heading over to HS to see the Osbourne Lights tomorrow night rather than waiting until Sunday when I have our FPs and ADRs. Are the boats from Epcot running there ok? From all my reading, I know driving there for an evening arrival is out of the question. Happy New Year!

If there's a backlog when you get to the boat, a easy secondary solution is to walk.

OT Robo..... my family always argues this when we're there.... which pathway is shorter from the Dolphin-the Epcot gate, the left or the right (facing Ecpot)? it looks like a straight walk from gate to gate is around the boardwalk side, but I always think the BC side is shorter from Dolphin-Epcot

Went to see O lights last night since it's supposed to rain tomorrow. We were there around 7:30. Took boat from Epcot. Very long line to get on boat at HS so we just walked back to Dolphin. Lights were crowded but we could easily walk around and stop for photos. Hoards of people were walking toward them as we were leaving.

S/D to Epcot is a hair shorter/quicker via Boardwalk. If you window shop on the way or pick up a snack along the Boardwalk, the Yacht & Beach route will be quicker, though still not shorter.
