Last week was not only bad for me, but just about everyone around me.
A friend at work: Her BF bought a car, a trucker called the cops on them, (BF was trying to learn to drive a standard), he kept messing up. Cops pulled them over, gave him a ticket.
Started on their way, car died! Stuck out on 71 in Columbus..what fun!
Our office manager at work: Her DS, only 5, had to have surgery.
Not normal everyday, kind of surgery...pituitary gland surgery.
This poor little guy had a seizure, that is how it started. They put him on steroids, he gained at least 10 lbs in 1 week.
He had the surgery Friday, and came through it okay. I have not heard anymore, but hopefully, he is doing well. It just breaks my heart.
My sister: Has to have $5,000 worth of dental work done. She had a root canal a few years ago, now the root of a tooth holding bridgework broke!
Plus, her car died...I had to pick her up and take her home from the grocery store.
My mom: We think she has alzheimers. She called and cancelled her doctors appt. Then she called me and told me she never had an appt. AAAHHH!!! She was trying to call my sister...not sure who she was calling...our mom's phone number did not show up on sisters caller id.
My week: Well...I am glad it is over. Let's get to Monday and start again. Hopefully it will be a better week!!
