How was Early Admission at Islands of Adventure today?

I'm going to be at Universal next Monday, 6/21 and with today being the first day of early admission at IOA in awhile I was curious how it went for anyone there? I meant to watch the line times on the app this morning but got busy and forgot. Was VelociCoaster open before 9:00? What time did you need to get to the park to be able to ride Hagrid's with a minimal wait?

I'll be there next Monday as well so I happened to check wait times this morning. Can't recall the exact time but it was slightly past 8 and Hagrids was showing as delayed and Velocicoaster had a 30-min wait. I checked again around 8:30ish and Hagrids was open with a 30 or 40 minute wait. Both rides were less than an hour wait at that point. The early admission page on Universal's website doesn't list Velocicoaster as one of the early rides, so I'm not sure if Velocicoaster opened early today because Hagrids was down or if it will be a normal thing going forward

We got in single rider line for velociraptor at 9:50 today. Took 40 minutes. Learned that regular line was actually faster from someone else in line and immediately got in regular line. It took 26 minutes from getting back in line to off the ride.

Immediately went to Hagrid's got in line abt 11:20. It took over 60 minutes start to finish.

Took the train to the other park. That took about 30 minutes. Rode a few rides and left the park abt 2.

The Universal app was way off times and not accurate at all.

We got to IOA 30 minutes before 8 and probably had a 30-40 minute wait for Hagrid. Today we plan on arriving 45 minutes to an hour before, just need to drag myself out of bed right now. I'm pretty sure Velocicoaster was open at 8 as a lot of people headed that way.

We went yesterday. You will be fine for velocicoaster. We got to the entrance around 7:30. It was running. Sign said 30 min wait, but it was walk on for three rides.

Do you think the Universal app is inflating the wait times? The wait times on the app have seemed very long throughout the day.

The parks were very busy Sunday and Monday. Did not use the app, but the posted times seemed inflated.
