How valuable would 60 points expiring Feb 28 2026 be?

I currently have a long split stay booked for this December with some points already borrowed ahead from my 2026 Use Year. We managed to get 5 nights at a Beach Club studio and then 3 nights at a Boardwalk 1BR. I was going to get on a waitlist to make it just one longer stay at Beach Club (long shot, I know). If I somehow managed that, I’d have 60 points refunded back that I already borrowed ahead that I think would be stuck in my March 2025 Use Year (expiring 2/28/26). My family prefers to not have to switch hotels and we don’t have enough points to stay at a 1BR for the whole time.

I’m just wondering, realistically, what I could get for renting those 60 Saratoga home points for if I got a Beach Club studio for the last three nights. I’ve never rented out my own points before so I’m not sure the relative complexity of doing that myself on a place like Disboards vs. selling to a 3rd party like David’s. Since it’s only 60 points, I didn’t know if that was too small to realistically find people interested.

Maybe??? Typical rentals are anywhere from $18 to $22 a point. As it gets closer to the expiration date of the points, value goes down for you. You might find someone who wants a short stay. Or you could use those points to book a room over a popular weekend (Run Disney event), if available, and then try to sell it as a confirmed reservation.

I rented 100 points a few years ago here on the Rental Board. Several people were interested, and it worked out that I rented them to 4 or 5 different people for one or two nights in studios. It did take a bit of time to check and make the reservations. I tried to make sure the renters were online when I made the reservations, and had them check the reservation immediately after making them to be sure the info was correct, and I gave them a few minutes to verify them in in the MDE App, then took 50% payment via PayPal, and the other 50% was due 45 days prior to travel, or before my banking deadline, which ever came first. I sent them a text and a PayPal reminder a day or two prior to the due date.

Payments went through PayPal and went smoothly.

I just can’t imagine anyone paying $18-$22 for SSR resale points….

Yes, but at 7 months they are basically the same as all the other points if they're looking to book inside the 7 month window, unless they want the restricted resorts and the points are resale. So you never know.

Not sure what the going rates are now, but where the points come from really doesn't matter as long as you can get reservations renters want with those points.

I rent my SSR for $20 a point. Most people don't even know that they are SSR points they are interested in getting the room they want reserved
Get what you can, but I think anyone who pays that is foolish. It’s pretty easy to pay $18 or less inside of 7 months.

Obviously, if someone is a spec or commercial renter then that is a different story.
