ok at the loacal theater i want too try out for this play 101 dalmashons is what there doing im not sure how to ask my mom if i can try out

Just stop now. If you're not 100% confident and dedicated, you are never going to get that part. so you don't have to worry about asking.

Don't you think you're being a little harsh? I'm sure your mom is looking out for your best interests and if you show her how dedicated and confident you are about auditioning for the play I'm sure she'll stand by you..

As for asking your mom I have had alot of experience with this. First make sure that it won't interfer with your other activites/ school work. I don't like asking my parents for things but if acting is something that you want to do you should get used to it. Tell them that you are really interested in doing it. Or you could start practicing with some of the stuff that is on the link that I gave you and when they ask you about it you can say "Well I was thinking about trying out for it what do you think?". That has worked for me before.

I don't know if you like to sing and/or act so I can't recomend a part for you but good luck Keep me updated on how it goes!
