Hi guys!

I'm really new here, but I love all things Disney.

The cast of characters:

Me - 32 (?), hmm yep 32, just did the math in my head. I stopped counting after 21, because there is really nothing else to look forward to. :rotfl: I work as an Admin in the construction field (which I love) for a company (which I don't). I live with my BF and our two cats, Jessie & Elise. My first trip to Disney was when I was about 10 or 11, my family was in Florida for my uncle's wedding and all I remember is being on the Dumbo ride. I was in love with Disney before this and wanted to be Snow White, but I'm too tan for that! Then we spent a half day at Disneyland in '95, pre-California Adventure. It was my first time on BTMRR, my sister and Dad did Space Mountain twice in a row. Next trip was March of 2006, my dad had a conference in Swan/Dolphin and I had a friend who was working as a CM. Six days of Disney!!!!! My friend, the CM, thought I'd get bored/tired after day three, boy was he wrong! Hence the title of the PTR. I showed him I could name all the Princesses including that Sleeping Beauty's first name is Aurora. And match them with what their formal dress is. Then in October 2006, I came back to visit my friend and meet up with some people from my past and we spend 16 hours in MK and EP. Last year in March my BF and I took a trip to Cali and spent 2 1/2 days in DL. I've been asking for almost two years to go to Disney. And I finally got a yes!

BF - 29, I'll call him Beast, cause well I love Beauty & the Beast, I mean who doesn't want Belle's ball gown. He's stubborn, frustrating, lacks social graces, is rough around the edges, but deep down he's a sweetie. He works a security guard and we don't get to spend much time together. He is from Bulgaria and has the cutest accent, but sometimes he doesn't know the right word for certain things out of the ordinary. He believes DW is for kids and why do we have to go, when we went to DL last year.

I had to explain to him that DW is way more than DL and it just puts me :cloud9: here.

Here's a photo of us in DL.... I hope!

Whoo hoo I finally got it!

So how did I finally get him to agree to go to DW?

How did I finally get my Disney?

After waiting for the Free Dining Promotion to come out, it finally did and I started asking to go to Disney. The answer was always no, we just went to DL. We already took a vacation, we went to Maine in April/May we both took Friday off and we came back on Sunday. Until June he said that we already took our vacation! He was counting that weekend as a vacation. I tried to explain to him that a weekend away does not a vacation make. Eventually, he agreed to take a few days off from work and we could go somewhere for vacation.

He wanted: to go somewhere in July or first two weeks in August, before schools start up (oh he does security for a college), spend under $2,000, to take four days or less off of work, and to take into account his days off Sundays and Mondays.

I wanted: DISNEY! Preferrably 9/3 - 9/12... Remember the crappy place I said I worked? They were only giving me one week's vacation this year and I had already used one day for our weekend away leaving me with only four days vacation. Hence wanting to use the holiday of Monday for a free vacation day and being able to have many many days at Disney.

He realized that he wanted to go away to Bulgaria next year for 2 - 4 weeks and will not be able to go on vacation with me next year and he should let me have my Disney trip. ;) He wanted to still go in July or the beginning of August. I pointed out that #1 Free Dining starts on 8/15 the 3rd week of August and #2 we should wait until Sept. so all the kiddos are back in school and we won't have any two hour waits!

So that's how my Disney trip came about! We're going from 9/2 - 9/7 and staying at Pop. Our flight leaves very early on 9/2 and leaves as late as possible on 9/7. We're using ME and have Park Hoppers because I have a few days planned we'll go somewhere during the morning and somewhere else for the night. I cannot wait! Everyone at DIS has been really helpful and teaching me some great things to pack, hints on where to eat, and how to make the most out of the free dining!

Where has DIS members helped me pick?

That free dining is great, isn't it? It helped me convince my DH we could go too! :cool1:

Its super helpful since he LOVES to eat. I mean most of my photos of him, he has food in his mouth, or we're eating. LOL. We upgraded from QSP to DDP so that we can do buffets and I can see Characters.

So where have you suggested me to eat?

Day 1: We arrive at MCO @9:33am. Its the Thursday before Labor Day. I'm hoping to get to DTD to have a nice lunch at WPE-Marketplace.

Then I have a Dinner ADR at either the Garden Grill or Teppen Edo. I'd rather the Garden Grill cause of the characters and well I'm not a huge fan of Chinese or Japanese food.

Day 2: Friday of Labor Day weekend. HS Day with some surprises! Breakfast to be at Fairfax Fare because I heard their breakfast sandwiches are really big and good, so maybe we can spilt one? Lunch I got my first ADR for Le Cellier (so excited!) but do I want to travel to Epcot for it? Also made one for 50's Prime Time Cafe, just in case. Skipping dinner or having a light snack, because ....... I got a reservation for Wishes dessert party!

Day 3: Saturday, MK Day! Breakfast will be Main Street Bakery using one QS meal (hope) I want a cinnamon bun, he likes chocolate croissants. Neither of us drink coffee. I'm not sure why. Lunch split QS at Cosmic Ray's with the chicken rib combo. Dinner is an ADR at The Wave or Tony's Town Square

Day 4: Sunday, EP Day. He loves Soarin' ride first and pick up FP. Breakfast is going to be skipped because I can either go to Le Cellier (yay! found another res) or Le Chefs de France (Remy!), dinner is QS at Sunshine Seasons with going to HS for Fantasmic! and then EMH at MK. I'm a sucker for BTMRR at night in the last row.

Day 5: Monday, Labor Day (eek!):scared1: HS Day. I loved TSM at DL and I want to do it as many times as possible! Same breakfast as last time in HS, Lunch is Beaches & Cream and Dinner is an ADR at Cape May Cafe (yum seafood! and buffet!):dance3:

Day 6: Tuesday, leaving day  Either breakfast at Boma or CP. Pick up lunch to go at WGE for the plane. Flights at 6:15pm.

How did we do? Any one of those nights can change with us meeting up with my friend and former CM for dinner. I'm aiming for nights of 1, 3, or 5!

Hi, my name is Elise. I'm a princess. At least that's what my mommy tells me. I have a whole room upstairs just for me! But sometimes, my mommy forgets and lets other people like my grandma sleep in my room and then I have to find somewhere else to sleep. Its not fair, its my room and I was here first! Maybe if I give them dirty looks they will get the point and leave my room. I can't believe that mommy gave my room away! Doesn't she know every princess needs her own castle?

Hi! I'm Jessie. My mommy reads books to me. Sometimes I like to read the books and look at our plans and DISboards by myself. I can't wait to go! My daddy calls me Jessie James and Squirely because I always want to get outside. Florida is going to be so much fun! I love to cuddle and snuggle. I'm not very talkative, but I"ll make sure you know if I'm happy. Sometimes I bring my toy to mommy and daddy and they throw it for me and I get to go and get it. I like that.

BTW I haven't broken the news to Jessie that she is not included in the trip and Grandma and Grandpa will be coming down to take care of them. I have a feeling they will be more spoiled when we get back!

Here's my pumpkin from this past Halloween. A lot of people liked it.

My neighbor's son was actually dressed up as Mickey Mouse too!

Love, love, love your pumpkin! We have an ADR for Garden Grill, too. We've never been either -- I'll let you know! Lucky you, getting into Le Cellier. :thumbsup2 I wasn't able to get one, but I must admit I haven't checked lately. We're going to have lunch at Rose and Crown that day instead. That's probably the ADR I'm least excited about, so maybe I'll look into finding something else.

We're leaving our cat at home too, but she's not getting spoiled by anyone! The neighbors' college age son is going to come stay -- not her idea of excitement!

:welcome: Lizzy and wlake. Thanks for enjoying my PTR. I was starting to wonder if anyone was reading it.

Jessie is pretty funny, she's laid down on the laptop at home while I've tried to look up things on DISboards and my notebook of trying to plan out meals and what park we're going to be in. Then on Monday I got this photo of her as she climbed into the side table and laid right next the the UG! I think she's into Disney too, but well she's a cat. I was thinking last night I should dress them up for Halloween as Mickey and Minnie, I mean they are already black and white!

Friends of mine who visit DW like three times a year suggested the Garden Grill to eat, and I checked every day for Le Cellier and one day it was there! This is like two weeks ago, keep checking things!:cheer2:

Where did the title come from?

When I visited in March of 2006, I had a friend who was working as a CM. On the first of six days at Disney, he told my whole family that by day 3 I woudl be Disneyed out. Turns out I lasted more than anyone else in my family and even went to EMH hours at MK by myself. Three rides on BTMRR and an ice cream sandwich from Main Street later I was ready to call it a night.

I still dream about that ice cream sandwich! Everyone was confused how I could get up for park opening and stay up until the last park closed. So I guess I out Disneyed a CM!

How did I meet my BF?

This is a story that gets everyone laughing and in disbelief. He was working his job at security for a school and I was working for a company that I loved working on a project for the same school. You would think that's where it starts and ends right???? WRONG!!!

I didn't like him at first, he was just creepy to me. All the other security guards would tell me he liked me and it gave me the creeps. I really couldn't stand him. He would come up and touch my shoulder or hand and bad chills would go up my back. I mean who is this guy touching me that I don't know anything about him but his name.

Well he was very persistant about me. To the point that I complained about him to his supervisor and almost got him fired! I didn't want to file a complaint formally, I just wanted him to stop touching me. I felt bad about having to tell his supervisor, but I had told him multiple times before and he never listened. One of his best traits . His co-worker sat and talked to me that day and told me the reason he worked all the hours he did, was to help provide for his family and grandmother. It was only his dad and him working to support the family. Well that got to me and I started realizing what a strong person he was and liking him.

After a long weekend feeling horrible about almost getting him fired, I came into work to find him there working for someone else. I tried to talk to him about what happened last week, but people kept coming in and out and well it wasn't very private. So I took his phone and put my number into it. He texted me after he got out of work and we talked that night. And every night after for hours and hours. Some nights we wouldn't hang up until 2am and I'd be up for work at 7am. During this time we got to know each other really well and I started caring about him. Two weeks after our first phone call was my birthday and he came over with a cake, flowers, balloons, and presents. A few days later we went out for what I like to call our first date.

That was over two years ago. And although we don't see as much of each other as we'd like I still love him.:cloud9::love:

so..... I'm not exactly sure how to get more people interested in my report..... maybe changing the title or something :confused3 maybe its just that I'm too new? How do you go about getting people interested in reading about your plans? I love reading everyone else's especially when I should be working, but I don't know............. I feel like :rolleyes1 is anyone there?

I've been feeling the same way, wondering if anyone is reading! So, I decided I would just do it for myself, but I do keep sneaking looks at the number of views and get far too excited when someone else posts! We can read each other's! :)

I read yours yesterday to see what new surprises you had for the boys.... oh wait maybe I should post this on your PTR! LOL. Going to do that now!

First off...............I absolutely LOVE your Mickey pumpkin. I tried to be creative one year with our pumpkins and I ended up getting mad and throwing them out! :lmao: I ended up having my boyfriend go out and buy a few more. :confused3 He was not very happy about it. Oh well!

Second...............I have the same thing with my PTR. Not many people responding. My guess is that we are all new. It bothered me at first, but am now over it. I mostly am doing it for myself now! I also use mine to help keep track of my weight loss (or, should say roller coaster) :lmao:. I thought that if I put it out there for everyone to see that I would do better! :rotfl2:

Lastly, I also LOVE reading everyone else's PTR and CTR (while I should be working :rolleyes1). Shhhhhhhh, don't tell! :rotfl: If it's towards the end of the report and it seems like they are almost done than I won't comment either. So, I guess you could say that I am just as bad!

Anyhow, I will be reading your PTR and look forward to reading your CTR when you return (are you planning on doing one?). I especially love reading the CTR to get tips/tricks for our next visit (9/30-10/8).

:cheer2: Hi Crissy! Welcome! I like reading everyone's plans too, I started here with the Restaurant Section and reviews to figure out where to book and now I'm trying to get to know and meet people.

The pumpkin was not too bad. I found a template online. I used a needle to outline the template on the pumpkin and then cut it out. Voila! Mickey pumpkin, but then I wanted another one to make Minnie.:rotfl:

I take too many photos on vacation, and am rethinking parks and ADR's. I know I'm five weeks away from being there and replanning everything!

You sound like me. I make plans and change them. The only thing that I need to watch are my ADR's. Breakfast and Dinner are planned for every day. I am trying to get Le Cellier for dinner one night. It was all booked when I made ADR's. We were originally going to go in December, but then we changed to Oct. We were past the 180 day mark when we booked our trip! :upsidedow Anyhow, I figured I would keep checking. I am also thinking of doing MNSSHP on 10/7 (which is supposed to be an Epcot day for us). We went to MVMCP last year and I didn't think it was worth it. But, Halloween is my FAVORITE, so we'll see. I still have time to make some changes!

Well we booked out trip 56 days in advance.... how do I know this.... because we paid the deposit on July 8th and then I saw July 19th as our 45 days away final payment day. Well, darn we should have just paid the whole thing.

So trying to get what I want out of the parks with what touringplans says to do, and where I managed to find ADR's.

I asked the BF on Monday to sit down and look at the menus so I can cancel the extra ADR's and the response I get is "how am I going to know what I feel like eating over a month in advance?" He doesn't understand that you have to book otherwise the DDP is a waste!

He doesn't understand Disney, why I love it, how WDW is different then DL, and why I made him sit down and watch the DVD that came in the mail. He thought I had already watched it before showing it to him, I was waiting for him so we could watch it together, he talked through the whole thing and thought it a waste of time.

He actually said yesterday to stop doing Disney things, because I would be Disneyed out by the time the vacation came around. He doesn't understand its my happy time when I'm at work.

My mom is coming down for the weekend tomorrow and we're going to finish up my Disney extras list. I'm going to pick up some things tonight too! I went to the Dollar Store & Target last week and got some things. I don't think I"ll ever finish in time! I want to pre order the Photo Pass CD and like get a million photos taken. I just want my money's worth.:rolleyes1 Does anyone know if you can add your camera photos to the Photo Pass CD?

I'm here, I'm here! I saw the link in your siggie over on the Dis meets board.
DH and I will be at Universal 9/2-9/5 then staying at the Poly 9/5 to 9/12. So our trips overlap a little. September is a great time to go

Your cats are so cute! We have a zoo in our house, so I always like seeing other people's pets.

Where in MA are you from? We live in Quincy.

Can't wait to read more...
