Ok so I'm going to ask everyone to forget about the magic and the 'Disney side' of it![]()
I know it's hard ladies![]()
But how about the convenience?? I think that is what sold DF. We spent 2.5 days doing wedding stuff on our vacation a couple weeks ago and then we do the majority of it during the planning session, there's no visiting multiple vendors, going out multiple nights to do this and that. DF saw his friends having to do all of this stuff with their fiance's and he was dreading it! They couldn't hang out because they had to visit this florist, they had to check out another caterering hall, another Photographer.
I have to say I'm 11 months out from my wedding and I have all the big ticket items in place - the dress, Photographer, videographer, Officiant, the locations (along with the caterer, bakery, florist, and entertainmentbecause we went with Disney!) Now he's excited about it because we have a wedding planner to help us. Have you thought about this angle?
Trying to pull out all the advice here![]()
You are spot on with your advice!

I did the at home wedding and BLAH what a PITA it was. Can we just relax this weekend? No we have to go see the florist, talk to yet another photog, etc etc.
